today i went to work and saw a few people. i girl i know had somebody find her cat after 2 and a half months of being away. she was happy. i had a pizza and a salad at EVO's today. that made me happy. i had to buy a replacement head for my kitchen faucet today for 60 bucks. a piece was broken and leaking down the faucet getting wetness in the cabinet underneath. yesterday 2 old ladies came and picked up the old screen door from the front yard.

Grandma: Okay, so I haven't blogged in a while. Loved everybodies vacation pics. Sounds like a good time was had by all. I have been busy running back and forth to the dr's. At least all tests came out GOOD! Surgery set for tomorrow and Same Day just called and told me I had to come in at 5:30 AM. Yikes, I guess it is good to be first. Less waiting. But wondering what time one has to get up to be ready to leave home at 5:15 am. Then I remembered I use to work there and did it 4 times a week. NO regrets there! Anticipating being back on my feet by Saturday at the latest. Don't know when I will be able to go back to the gym. I was trying hard to lose 10 pounds by the time I returned to school but doubt that that will happen with no exercise. Maybe the tumor weighs 10 lbs. Okay I know that is unreasonable. Anyway I expect lots of blogs next week to keep me entertained while I recover. :) That's it!

Emma; Today i went swimming it was a blast. i made my tie dye shirt it was a blast of colors.I got my hair cut that was a blast of hair.and i just had a juicy, moist, rich blasty brownie that my beautiful mommy made.

Mommy; Today started off great. i went to work and only had to be there for 2 hours!!!!! then i spent the rest of the day at the hospital with mom and pops. it was was great. pops and talked quite a bit and walked around, read a couple of magazine, watched a little TV. The best part was the good news mom received. YEA!! Left there and picked up Emma. As you can see above, got her hair cut. She cut off about 8 inches!! It's a little shorter than we wanted, but we really love it. Came home and made chicken quesadillas for dinner. Later I made some brownies. I had to do a little work tonight, but it's great b/c i can do it sitting here with the family watching -- what else but -- Harry Potter. We are actually on movie #2 of HP tonight. I don't understand the obsession, but I'll roll with it. OH and we sold the Tahoe - hopefully. The folks were to buy it today, but called and said they changed their minds. Then they called Ken later today and said they wanted it and wanted to meet him Thursday to sign over the title and pay us for it. That will be soooo great if they are serious this time. Well, have a shorty (hair) night!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandma: Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple of days. Friday 8 am I got my hair cut and a little color added. Then I went to Diva Nails to get a pedicure. Upon leaving there I decided to go next door to Starbucks and treat myself to some fancy coffee concoction. I get caramel something or other. It was yummy but in no way worth $4.11. Carolyn D. was there and wanted me to sit down and talk to her so I did. I also saw Pam M.from church. She had just gotten a hair cut and her nails done and was getting coffee too. She is a teacher and off for the summer. Carolyn told me lots of stuff re: Ted, Tim. I just listened because it was interesting. I then went home and rode to Kinston with Dad. He was picking up Anna's computer which had been repaired. I saw Stephanie and Buddy there. I wanted to see Jeff but he was off, going to the Kid Rock concert. We were invited but the party pooper said NO! Back home I finished my house clean up that I started last Sunday. Went to Parker's for supper. Grease YUM! Saturday I got up at 7:10 AM. Went to 9:30 am boot camp. It was a killer but I loved it. Came home and finally cleaned out my car. I had been dreading it since the "paint accident." I am over it, might as well be. We went to Ribeye's to eat. We helped them open up at 4 pm as we had skipped lunch and were starved. Yum again. We then went to the Neuse Sport shop for Dad to buy a new fishing rod. I told him we found about 50 when we cleaned up the smoke house and what did he need another one for. He said that he likes to have alot of things. I found a pair of madras shorts there I really loved. They cost $90. I did not buy them. We bought the fishing pole and came home. It was raining really hard by then. We tried to watch a movie but it stunk and I pack it up to go back. It is now Sunday am. I am blogging and Dad is out playing golf. Have a Sunday!

I'm starting from last Friday since that's when we started our vacation:

Friday: We took Olivia to the dog spa and took off. We arrived at Ken's sister's house about 5ish. Met for a bit and then went swimming in their new pool. Amy made baked spaghetti for dinner. Also, a new kitty took up at their house. They named her Sam -- not knowing if it was a boy of girl (it's a girl). Very sweet little kitty. Went to bed.

Saturday: We just hung around -- more of Ken's family came over to visit and swim. Did a lot of kid throwing about the pool - see photos. We cooked out on the grill and did more swimming. For dinner we had pizza and did more swimming. Went to bed.

Sunday: Got up and had breakfast at Denny's. Swam a little (I think). Left about 3ish to go to the Brave's game. We ate at the Varsity - pretty famous place and fun place to eat before the game. Lots of grease which is always good. Went to the Braves game -- started at 6:05. They played the Mets which was kinda cool b/c there was a guy from the Braves that just got traded to the Mets -- Jeff Francour (last year we all got shirts with Francour on the back b/c we loved him). Ken wore his anyway - everyone cheered when we went to bat. Em and I had boiled peanuts and we loved them. We also had some dipping dots and various other very expensive ball game foods -- it's worth it I think!! Amy, Shane, Megan and Thomas all went. It was fun -- Braves won! Went home - went to bed.

Monday: Got up and went to White Water (water park). The weather was great -- mid 80's and not humid at all. The water was COLD!! We went on various rides -- we thought that since it was a Monday, it would not be busy -- but it was. Most of the time for the big rides, the waits were about 30 to 45 minutes. It was fun until I went on a water ride that was in the dark most of the time. I wanted to vomit at the end. What a wimp I've become. We ate $70 worth of chicken fingers and pizza (WHY SOOOOOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE?!?!?!?!?!?!??!). Sorry. Rode more and headed on back to Amy's house. I can't remember what we did for dinner.

Tuesday: Woke up about 8ish and left Amy's at 9. We were leaving and heading to the mountains to stay at the Dillard house. One the way, we stopped at Babyland General (cabbage patch heaven). Emma has been talking about it since we went last year. She adopted a sweet little baby. Her name is Alexandra Morgan (Emma named her). She loves her so. After that, we headed to Helen. It was a cool little town. We ate lunch and walked around. The kids did an old timey photo -- it was really fun. They LOVED it. We left there and went across the street to do a little tubing down the Chattahoochee River (not sure if that's spelled right). We picked the 1 hour ride since the water level was a little low. It was fun!! After that, we changed, bought t-shirts and ate some ice cream. We left and drove to Dillard to spend the night. Ate at Pizza Hut and checked into the room about 9:00. We took showers and watch Twilight. Every fell asleep during the movie but me and Abby.

Wednesday: Got up and ate a HUGE breakfast at the Dillard house. They bring out all of these things to eat -- kinda like family style. Here are some of the things: eggs, bacon, sausage (link and patty), bacon, grits, gravy, biscuits, apples, tenderloin, potatoes, etc. It was SO much. They also had a breakfast bar type thing. We let Emma and Logan go over there and they came back with hot chocolate. Abby wanted some so they headed back over. The waitress told us that we would have to pay for it and we were a bit confused until we found out that they went behind the waitress area and got some out of a hot chocolate machine. Emma said that she didn't know -- but it was not even close to the breakfast bar -- so not sure how they got over there and why we didn't see them. Oh well, they said it was great and totally worth it. We left and went over to the petting zoo area. There was this horse that kept on head butting Emma until she fed him. There were goats and rats, chickens, cows and a 5 day old goat. He was cute. We changed quickly and went to swim for a minute since we had to check out at 12:00. Left and headed towards Ken's dad's lake place. We stopped at a place called Goat on the Roof. They had goats on the roof that you can send food pellets up to feed them. They also had gem mining. That's always fun. Got to Ken's dad's about 3:00. It was very overcast, but we went out to tube anyway. Megan, Logan and Emma got to tube, but Abby didn't since it started to thunder. We got back and cleaned up a bit to go out to eat. We ate at Ken's dad's favorite place -- Red Lobster. We back and rode the boat a bit more. Went to bed.

Thursday: Got up and had some cereal. Took a boat ride to a bridge. Got various trucks to honk 41 times. Went back and got changed for tubing. It kept on storming so we had to come in and back out. Emma and I took a break and used Maggie (GPS) to head to WalMart -- just to get out for a bit. We went into a dollar store (Xtreme Dollar to be exact) and they had some really great things. They had note cards with Emma's name on them and I got a NCSU garden glad for $1. Kinda funny that we were in GA, but they had a NSCU flag in there for $1 -- it was the ONLY one there. We back and Thomas cooked some hamburgers on the grill. We ate and then we back for a boat ride. Everyone was a bit tired so we went back and just hung out -- watched TV and packed up. We put some wet shoes in the car the night before (well, I did) and the truck smelled like death the next morning!

Friday: Amy left early b/c her A/C on her van was out. We left right after that -- but ate breakfast at Shoney's with Thomas and Ken's dad before heading out. We had breakfast buffet but they had a salad bar... so I ate one. They also had a crane but we didn't have any change and the toys were huge...so we were OK with not trying it out. Got in the truck and headed home. Got home about 4 and dropped off Abby and Logan. Went to pick up Olivia and headed home!!! Ken cut the grass and I unpacked. I ate grape tomatoes for dinner - I probably picked 300 from the garden that night! Watch SeaBiscuit and went to bed.

Saturday: Got up about 8:30. Drove into town to work to sync up my laptop password so I could log on to this from home and get my blog on. Got some gas in the truck and came home. Took at shower and drove to Clayton to go to the movie place that Mom, Dad and Darian talked about that had pizza, etc. We went to see HP6 (again) at 12:50. We just sat down at a lady came in and said that the projector was not working so she would refund our money or we could come back at 3:30 and see the next showing. Since we had our food, we decided to just go and see something else. They only thing that was on at that time was My Sister's Keeper. It was OK -- but not like the book. It was a TOTAL cryfest. I have to admit that I did cry a couple of times. Left there and went to Game Stop to buy Harrison (little boy across the street) a birthday gift. Came home and Ken is now sleeping on the couch and I'm blogging. I'm going to try now and download some pictures from the trip. Sorry if this does not seen too exciting, but it's too much to type all at once. Being in a blog free zone was nice, but it probably would have been better to blog every night -- there may have been more exciting things to talk about.

i'm starting from yesterday since we forgot to blog. finally the boring class ended (i passed- btw) and me and D went to wonder works - i know some of you have been before but it was loads of fun and i never wanted to leave there. my fav part was moving a ball with my mind. this morning we woke up had breakfast, and went to sea world and here's where we had the best day ever AND the worst day ever. i won the above giant dolphin - tried to attach the pic below but it's up there so whatever. we also rode every ride that was scary and watched all important shows. the shamu show sorta made we want to cry - they make em real sentimental these days. we also fed lots of birds lots of food and then noticed, a don't feed the birds sign - oops.

anyway - we get back to the car and yep, you guess it - charles (the giant dolphin) wont fit in my car! we tried to give it to a man with a truck but he couldn't fit him either so we had to leave him right there in the parking spot in hopes that a nice family would take him and love him like we did for the 30 minutes that we had him. we are now showering up and getting ready to go play putt putt and watch a movie.

Darian: Today we lost Charles :( That was real sad. But sea world was amazing. Mainly because we didn't have to wait in any of the lines! We got a little wrist band thing that let us go right to the front. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for any of the rides. My favorite ride was the water ride. It had an unexpected twist at the end! :D Later we're gonna go play some Putt Putt and then eat at the largest entertainment McDonalds! Haha. Then at 10:30 we're going to see The Orphan!!!!!! Woo! Also, i'm wearing my new fav scarf. I forgot to blog about him earlier but i got him a couple days ago when me and britt went shopping. He's cute. Oh yeah! My favorite show at Sea World was the dolphin show! :) They were great. I plan on working there when i grow up. Free tickets for the family! Haha. Well, i better go finish getting ready. My mom kicked me out of the small getting ready area so i gotta go take over again. Have a Charles-y day.

yesterday i got up pretty early and went to lowes then i went to bojanges on ashley phosphate to get a biscuit. it took forever but it was still worth it. i put up outside light fixtures and put out more rocks near the house and refurbished the pavers near the spigot with new sand.
i went to work today. since it is thursday, dave is off so i was pretty busy. i spayed a dog, mastectomy on a dog and one more surgery. then i did a bunch of appointments. nothing too exciting. i had a caesar salad with skrimps for lunch. i have pool later. i won last week so i probably won't play tonight but i needed to be there for emotional support. adds sent a text message about her inability to blog and i told her she was excused. where is this blog-free zone??
maybe i would like to take a vacation there. el oh el

Grandma: The last couple of day have been very exciting.(NOT!) Tuesday am I got up, I don't remember the time, sorry, went to the gym to work out. Met Grandpa for lunch at Applebees. We had 2 for $20 special. Boneless buffaloe wing appetizer and oriential chicken salads. I cleaned up some more (Adds old room) then went back to the gym for boot camp. Today, Wednesday, I got up at 7:10am and went to the gym. Then came home and cleaned up the hall and rehung the pictures where the bulletin board was. I then dealt with all the reciepts from the trip and paid some bills. The desk is now neat and tidy. Tomorrow I plan to finish cleaning up the computer room. On Friday I am going to get my hair cut and probably a little color. Well that is about all the excitement I can come up with. I texted Adds last night and she reported that she is unable to blog from her phone and promises a long blog with pics when she returns. That is nice but I think it would be better if she would find and internet cafe! Thought for the day - I think we have enough youth, how about a fountian of smart! Have a smart day!

Hey everybody. we're in florida and having a great time. the trip was good - D slept half the way. i listened to the audio book we got. we stopped and had lunch at mcdonalds where a tiny sweet brown bird wanted to be friends, so darian gave him a giant fry but along comes a joe crow (that's what a lez lady called him) and stole the fry. we got here and went straight to the pool, then went for a walk and looked in all the cheesy stores for a b-day present for Brit - got some good ideas - then we had some free drinks and snacks at the happy hour - darian's a big drinker you know. Then we went and ate some dinner and now we are in the room because big brother comes on soon.

Darian: We're here in florida. The ride here was pretty amazing. We made some new friends at mcdonalds :D When we got here we investegated the hotel for a second but then decided to go to the pool. Half indoor, Half outdoor. It was pretty cool but the water burned my eyes big time so we didn't stay long. Then we walked around florida for a bit and then came back to the hotel and got some free snacks and i drank 3 cups of coke. Then we went to a place called Uno and i got a Calzone. Now we're watching America's got Talent waiting for Big Brother :) Everyone have an amazing day.

today was monday so i went to work. i took a tumor of a dog and pulled some teeth on an old poodle. they were so rotten they basically fell out. he only has 3 teeth now but he is better off. i am still amazed by the new door and how perfect it turned out. i had jeffery powerwash the driveway today and it is an unbelievable difference. i have a trip planned thursday sept 3 is first college football game of the year U of sc at NCSU. so kent wants to go since usc is his team and it'll be a big deal being the first game and on espn and everything. then friday night in wilson then saturday the 5th appalachain plays ecu, which michael wants me to go to. so i am. kent wants to eat at angus barn and parkers. he loves eating at famous places (who doesn't!?!) thursday in ral, fri in wilson, sat in greenville. with kent tagging along. i made hotel reservations last night so its on now

Grandma: Well I now know how Betsy felt about blogging when nothing is happening. Nothing important or blogworthy anyway. I did think of three more things Dar and I did that we forgot to put on the list. 14. Made anklet (Em made one too) 15. Made cupcakes (red velvet with pig faces, cute but not very tasty) 16. Made lemondade with real lemons.
Okay you may be wondering what I have been doing over the last two days. Well I have been cleaning. Yesterday I took everything out of the bathroom and scrubbed down the walls, baseboards, doors and everything! WOW is it clean! Today I cleaned my bedroom including the closet and dresser and chest of drawers. WHEW. Now I am not only tired but wondering what has gotten in to me. Remember to love everybody and everything. What a great weekend with Dar back! oh and britt is here too.. saturday we went to target to get some things for the upcoming flo-rid-a trip. Then we went to see Harry Potter and the half blood prince - it was a great movie although a bit long and my quarters were hurting. this morning we woke up early and went hardee's to get biscuit holes - delicious! then the girls went to the mall for a while and we went and ate chinese food for lunch. then we blew up a great pool and went swimming in the backyard. tonight was the most excitement ever. we played chopped - it's a new show on food network, for those who don't know. i gave the girls 4 ingredients and they had to make meals highlighting those ingredients. i gave them - a can of pumpkin, some left over spagetti, frozen biscuits and pepperjack cheese. i'm not even joking when i say they made a great meal! first course: nachos with black beans, refried beans and pepperjack 2nd course: oriental style noodles with baby corn, sauted onions and water chestnuts. 3rd course:pumpkin biscuits with a cinnamon whipped cream topping. 4th course - homemade biscuit holes complete with icing. that wraps up the weekend. hope everyone has a choppy evening!

yayayayayay I'm a blogger now. This weekend has been fantastice! Friday night, me & darian played pool at Todd's. We did fabulous on the first game. Second & third, not so much. But it was so fun. We rode bikes Saturday morning & exhausted ourselves. Then saturday evening = crazy outfits to see Happy Rotter and the Half Blood Prince, yeehaw! Sunday was an early morning, starting with delicious B-Holes at Hardees, then moving on to mall time. We bought lots and lots of treasures at various stores. Chinese food after the mall was yum, but the atmosphere was hectic in C&W Buffet. When we got home, it was time for Poolio II, our new favorite baby blow up pool that took 4 hours to inflate. We did some mad LAPSSSSS! after that, Chopped time. that's all :D

Darian: Well, this weekend i'm back in South Carolina. We did a lot of fun things like HP6 and the mall. I got a few things there. And then chinese food. Yum. And we woke up and got some B-holes :) Amazing! Now, i think we're about to go on a midnight bike ride so i better get going. Have a shake it shake it you're so fantastic day.

Grandma: Home safe from Hanahan where we left Dar (sob, tear). Things looked great there and we had fun helping do home improvements. Really quiet here.... no Dar and no Gus. No news! Hope Adds can blog from her fancy new phone so we will know how her vacation is going. Grandma: The last couple days have been real exciting. Trying the finish up things from "the list". Yesterday we finally finished the puzzle. Looking forward to the trip to Hanahan this weekend. Seeing Todd and Betsy and Knuckles and Lily and Lovey and Kitkat. Since yall are probably wondering what things we did from the list here it is. The final list of accomplishments this summer. Not necessarily in order of fun or importance. 1. Picnic 2. Hike in the state park 3. Bouquet of flower 4. Wrote a poem (remember they were blogged) 5. Spent the day at the library 6. Jumped in the pool with our clothes on 7. Made popsicles 8. homemade icecream 9. Learned to sew 10. Of course, we learned to blog 11. Created a summer bulletin board 12. Made a sculpture and tomorrow before we leave we will be 13. burying a time castle. (dar wrote it on the list like that so that is what we are calling our time capsule) Will be diging it up when Dar graduates from High School. Blogging has been fun and I hope everyone keeps it up!!

Sure wish i could have blogged more lately - man i missed this!
Woke up at 6:30 am - who knows why so early but it was good cuz i went first thing to Geralds and got my tires rotated. I went to work and shipped some samples and worked on some training records. Then i left a little early for lunch and went all the way to savannah hwy to get my oil changed but they told me it was gonna be a really long time so i decided not to wait. then i went home and ate a sandwich and three cookies. back to work and delivered the mail, shipped some more samples and spend a large portion of the afternoon on the phone with insurance and the colonoscopy folks - ugh! Anyway, then i sent out a harrassing email to ppl who need to do some make-up training. Now i am home and i'm gonna vacuum in a minute. i'm peeling a little from getting burned on the beach saturday and that's not cool. totally looking forward to friday when d comes home!

Grandma: Today I got up at 7:22 am. Ate breakfast and worked on the puzzle. Then Dar and I went to the pool. After that I picked up Em from Wee School. At Wee School talked with Mr. Vernon. He was excited to see Dar. Posted on the wall beside his office is the picture of Dar and 5 bffs in the bye bye buggy (age 1 1/2 I think) that was published on the front page of the WDT. He said to say hi to Betsy and to tell Todd he misses him taking care of his dog. Now sitting here watching tv and blogging. Dar is spending the night with Em so it is really quiet and I am once more forced to type my own blog. I love everything and everybody. Have a loving day.

today i got up at 830 and had a breakfast bar and got ready for work. At i neutered a dog and did a biopsy and a tumor removal. then i saw some appointments. at lunch today i was going to Buccas but the road was closed in both directions because a big trunk had spilled some mulch. instead of driving on the scattered mulch, traffic was detoured. i thought this was a bit of overkill but whatever. i guess you can spin out on mulch real bad. i eventually ate a burrito at moes. last night i went over to kent's a we hung out and watched the home run derby, which was not as good as last year. i just re-read this post and boy does it sound negative. peace out

Grandpa: Today was a really great day. I went back to work afer my vacation. We went out to eat today with Rick and Connie. I had not seen them in a long time. It was really nice. I woke up this morning at 6:01am. I am back home now goodnight everyone.

Darian: Today, grammy forced me to write one of my book reports for English 2 next year. I did NOT enjoy that. I finished my work book that i've been doing for a while. It was fun. I woke up at about 10:16 and got ready to go to the gym. I wore my pink shorts. Then we left for the gym and i ran six miles but i couldn't do all 50 minutes because i have blisters on my feet because i "don't have the right shoes" according to grandma. Haha. Then we left and came back home and worked on the puzzle for a while. We're almost finshed i think. Mabe like halfway or so. And then i took a shower and got ready. We didn't do anything today. At all. After we got done doing nothing, we went to Texas with Rick and Connie. It was good. I had chilli in a bread bowl. It was amazing. I love soup in bread bowls these days. I had one at Panara bread a while back. It was delish. Now we're watching Food Network about chocolate. Yum. Grandpa is asleep. Tomorrow i'm going to Ashley's to go tubing :D i'm excited. I'll miss Rocky though :( haha. That's it.

Grandma: Today was a great day. I got up early to go to the gym but it took awhile to get Dar up and going. Dar has several blisters because she refuses to wear regular tennis shoes. She is under the impression that going to the gym is fashion related and she has to have on the just right outfit with coordinating Vanns. I wear yesterdays clothes cause they are just going to get sweaty and I have to change them and shower when I get home. We returned home at lunch time! Tomorrow I will be going and be back before she gets up. We worked on the puzzle for a while. Wanted to go to the pool but it was storming. Encouraged and even helped Dar with her book report. She whined about it. Did some laundry and cleaned up the house a bit. Ate out with R & C, brought home most of my meat because I was full from appetizers and salad and yeast rolls with lots of butter :) YUM! Anyway kind of tired and sluggish from the carb load supper. Plan to go to bed soon. I love everything and everybody. Have a sleepy night. Ps. did my own and Grandpa's typing tonight. Dar is working on the puzzle.

Well, it's Monday and it's been a long day. Got up at 6:45 and left here about 7:30. Took our neighbor (Kevin) to work since his truck was being worked on. Worked for a bit and left and picked up Emma for lunch. We went to the library and to a store to buy Ken's sister a birthday gift. Then Emma wanted a shake - strawberry and banana - went to Chargril to get that. Went back to work - boring. Left at 5:15 and picked up Emma. Came home and make some mac and cheese. Went through the kids clothes for the trip next week. Noticed that we needed a couple of things...so Emma and I went to Target. OH...I forgot the worse part. I poked Emma in the eye with my finger. She could not see for about 10 minutes. I felt really bad and I think she milked it a little...but that's OK. At Target we got a couple of items (undies) and came home. Amoret is spending the night with us tonight. Olivia just breezed by with her duck (she LOVES stuffed animals) and I think her stomach was upset. I almost passed out just now. Ken is grumpy b/c he can't find some cord he's looking for and Emma and Amoret are upstairs...Emma is showering.
Couple of things to close with...my back feels better after the mall massage - but sore to the touch. She was really rough. The bow tie man in the Twisted Fork smiled at me as we were leaving - sorry Dar!! Well, I better go for now. I hope everyone has a amazing night!!!

Grandma: Today I got up at 8:40 a.m. Latest i have ever slept in years. Had to wake Darian up for a rushed shower and on to sunday school. After sunday school we went with Ashley and Ken to Raleigh to eat at a place called The Twisted Fork. It said you could eat dessert first but nobody wanted to but me so I had soup and salad. Then we ordered mini desserts which were about three bites and was great. From there we went to the Triangle Town Center. Actually the restaraunt is at the Triangle Town Center but not in the main building. I finally broke bad and bought some rainbows. Dark brown, thick soles. I hope Darian will wear them a while and break them in cause i don't wanna do it. We are back home now and thinking of taking a short nap before going to the gym. I currently have no plans for supper but if i do eat anything i will certainly be blogging it for those who are interested in my eating habits. I will also blog my exact bed time if folks want to know that too. Currently Darian and I are working on 1000 piece Easy Riding puzzle. Actually it's just a jigsaw puzzle with motorcycles on it that i got on sale. The easy riders are here in town this weekend and that's why i called it an Easy Rider puzzle. Have an Easy Riding day. I love everybody and everything.

Darian: Today, i woke up at about 8:42. I got up right away and took a shower and then got ready for church. I helped Ashley and Ken make the bulletin board. It was an Are you smarter than a 5th grader theme. Then we sat around in the room for a while holding our breath for as long as possible. After sunday school we went out to eat w/ Ashley and Ken at the Twisted fork. It was amazing and delicous. I loved it. Also, there was a nice bow tie man there. Me and Ashley liked him alot. Then we went shopping for grandma's rainbows and Ashley got a massage in the middle of the mall! What an experience. Now we're home and i'm drinking some milk but i just realized i don't know where i put it :( Well, that's all. Bye.

yesterday was chad's wedding. it was a pretty typical wedding and a good time was had by all. this morning i got up to return the tuxedo but none of the stores in the mall opened until 12. so i went to jason's deli and a early salad bar lunch. then i returned the tux, came home and i sprayed some round up and filled up the bird feeders. i got the lawnmower cranked finally to discover the throttle cable was broken. so my real reason for blogging today (other than to tell what i been eating) is to ask dad to bring a throttle cable and a fuel line (leaking) for the 165 hydro when ya'll come next weekend. it's really hot today so i'm going to rest some now. i'll be checking for blog updates!

Grandma: Guess what I am blogging all by myself! Logged in and everything. Dar is in the shower and doesn't know. Anyway I got up at 7:30am. Went to boot camp with Grandpa and lived through the experience after a week of no gym. Plenty of exercise walking around theme parks and up and down sand dunes. Dar skipped boot camp - couldn't get out of bed. Oh well. They have started some new sessions on Tuesday and Thursday @6pm. Maybe she can make it to them. No plans for today. We will probably go to the movies tomorrow. Terminator. Believe me I am not excited but plan to go along with the crowd. Pic of vacation to follow.

Grandma: Yaaay, we're finally home and the last load of laundry is in the dryer. Looking forward to the next trip to Hanahan on the 17th. Hope Chad's wedding goes well. Best wishes to him and his new bride. Gus boy is back home too and happy to be here. Grandpa is asleep in his chair. Golf on the t.v. Mouth wide open and snoring. Gus at his feet sleeping and snoring too i think. Loving everybody's blogs. Keep up the good work. We ate at Sam & Omie's last night and we all got T-shirts and we all wore them today for the trip home. So sweet. I love everybody and everything. Have a homey day. That's what we say here at home.

Darian: Today, we came home. Can't way to sleep in my home bed away from home. I watched the Invisible on the way here. Then i unpacked everything and then me and emma went out to the pond to do a little fishing. I caught a frog :) Picture later. I got real dirty too. Then we went to Pizza Inn. It was declicious. I feel really incomplete without my dinosaur wristband on. Grandma's washing it now. That's it. Grandma's being mean about what i enjoy to wear. Now i'll go cry. Bye. Have an amazing day.

Grandma: Arrived here at Nags Head yesterday around six after a long tedious drive but i'm excited to be here after many years away. Unbelievable how it has been developed but some of the old places are still here like Sam & Omies and the 7 Eleven. Climbed up Jockey's Ridge, saw some hang gliders and wished i was one. Planning to go tomorrow. At the chinese buffet, i saw a teacher who works at Cooper Elementary with me. And as they say here on the Outer Banks, Have a sandy day. (darian: they don't say that!) Done.

Emma: Hello people of the world. Today I went putt putting but I only had one hole in one. We ate chinese buffet (grandma: barffet) Last night I went to the beach and i played this game with Darian called don't touch the waves. It was very fun. I picked up some shells but i threw them back in the ocean. Now i'm at the hotel blogging. I love you mommy. Bubye now.

Darian: Today, i woke up. Then i got ready. And ate a squished blueberry muffin. Then we went to the Dunes. I ran down it a couple of times. Got alot of sand on me. Felt like i should've had a camel with me. Then we went and played putt putt. It was super crowded. We rode a small train at the putt putt place. It was amazing. Then we went and at at the Chinese Buffet. It was delicious. (grandma: NOT) I wish grandma would stop complaining about everything. If she was like me, she would love everything and everybody. Now we're about to go up to the room. Bye.

here i am blogging, i feel like doogie howser. yesterday i was off. i went to pick up my tuxedo for chads wedding. the weddings is saturday. it will either be 90 degrees or raining. and then i went to lowes for some wood. i am going to try to dress up the ceiling of my sunroom. then i met taylor at china buffet. i waas destressed to see that they are closing in mid july for 2 months to remodel. what could they possibly improve? new carpets we guessed otherwise its already pretty sweet in there. last night it rained a lot. we had flash flood warning and some streets were closed in hanahan. water was high in the backyard but no harm done.
today i got up at 8:30 shower, breakfast bar, work. i sewed up a cat and cleaned a dogs teeth. later tonight i am supposed to play pool.
sorry the amish farm was boring. i saw a movie about the amish once (witness). you can make fun of the amish and even smear ice cream in their faces and they can't even fight back!! fighting back is against their religion. or something. i guess it is now too late for ya'll to use this is info but anyway.

ashley - i decided to edit t's and add mine. i really don't have much to say except that i'm sad there was no family blog yesterday. i guess the hotel didn't have internet nor was there an internet cafe nearby. here's my morning so far...got up at 7:30 - shower - dried hair - went to CFA to get coffee and work. Ken took the truck in to have them check things over - belts, etc. we are have a party at work for the people with July birthdays. i forgot to bring my stuff - i was supposed to make pasta salad. i walked to food lion and bought some rolls and ham and make some ham rolls -- that seems to be OK with everyone. earlier i did a few emails and i'm now i'm typing this. hope that eveyone is having a foxy day!!!!!

Ashley - check me out...2ND day in a row blogging. i don't really have a lot to say about my day today. it was pretty boring. we took the truck in to see where it was leaking...but they said it was not the windshield...sooo....not sure what to do now and it's not really leaking so all is well with that. ate some sunflower seeds for a bit this afternoon so now i feel a wee bit pukey. oh well, it was worth it. couple of things about yesterday's blog that i noticed:
1. Emma ate WAY too much PB.
2. Gramps ate our souvenir chocolate so this will be my last blog.

Emma: I ate breakfast. I had a peanut butter bagel, peanut butter banana, and a whole cup of peanut butter. I went to an Amish farm. It was very boring. Then after that, i went putt putting. My ball fell into the water. Twice. But i got it back. And then i rode the train. It went very very slow. Then we went back to the hotel and we ate lots of snacks. And i miss my mommy and my dad too. Well, i better go. See ya.

Grandpa: I'm sorry i haven't been blogging. I stayed in the room to eat all the souvenier chocolate.

Grandma: Today was totally amazing (darian: >= ) Woops, i stole dar's word. Actually we went to an Amish farm and school house. Ate lunch at Fudruckers. Played golf at a place called water golf. It was on the bank of the susquanna river(sp?). It was a beautiful place. We then rode a little trolly around the area. Some football/baseball arena for the Phillidelphia Senetors. Tomorrow we might not be able to blog. We will have a long drive. Hopefully we'll make it all the way to the outerbanks which may take as long as 8 hours. Don't know if we will be in a motel that has internet. Darian can read your blogs and comments on her iPod but we can not blog on her iPod if she can find service anywhere. We enjoy keeping in touch. We love everything and everybody and as we say here in Hershey, have a sweet day.

Darian: Today, we went to an Ahhh-mish farm. It was probably the most boring thing i've ever done. Grandma picked it. That's why. That took up most of the day. Unfortunately. After that we went to play Mini golf. It looked way better on the website then it did in person. It was still fun though. Mini golf is always fun. After that we went to Houlihans. It was pretty good. I had some pizza. Then we came back to the hotel and ate some cake and snacks. My favorite part of the day was definately the arcade after our day. It was amazing. I won the much wanted Panda bear :) He's in my lap right now. Me and Emma also played some card games today with the deck of cards we won a couple days ago in the arcade. Well, i better go. I love everything and everybody.

Ashley - I went to Subs Plus today at lunch. There were people playing pool. I wonder...do they wake up in the morning and say...I think I will go and play pool today at Subs Plus. Ate the #19 - it was good. Now wishing it was 5:00 so I can go home. Hope Darian and Emma and Grandma and Grandpa are having fun and not eating all of the souvenir chocolate.

Grandma: Today we went to Hershey Park. Darian made me ride a ride called Farenheit. Anyway, it went straight up really far then went straight down really fast. Then it went upside down and side ways about a million times. About halfway up the very first part of the ride and hang on for dear life and did not open them again untill we were getting off. I did not throw up but was sincerely thinking about it. Then everytime we passed the ride, Darian tried to make me look at it again. I'm still having flashbacks. I love everyone and everybody. And as they say here in Hershey, Have a sweet day.

Darian: Today, we went to Hershey Park. I rode the Farenheit. It was amazing and not scary at all. I held my hands up. Grandma's a wuss. I won a giant panda bear. I love him. Along with everybody and everything. Me and Emma just played a buncha games in the arcade here at the Hampton. There was an amazing panda in the crane but he was impossible to get :( i miss him already. Well, that's all. Ohyeah, we also got some cake from the restaraunt that we ate at tonight. Chocolate chocolate cake and Pecan Pie. I'm excited to eat it. I think we're going to Amish country or something tomorrow. I don't know why it's spelled Amish when it is most definately pronounced Omish. Unless they mean like Ahhh-mish. I don't know. That's what not having electricity does to you :) just kidding. I'm excited for that too. It should be great. Well, i gotta go. Bye.

Darian: Well, we're here at the Hampton. Grandma is in the room, Grandpa is excercising and me and Emma just got done playing a bunch of arcade games. It was amazing. We won a lot of bouncy balls. Hopefully, we'll get some hot chocolate real soon :) Today, we went to the Hershey factory thing and got a couple hershey bars and also got an ID for working in the hershey kiss factory. We got some hideous hats to go along with it ;D We better get going. Bye.

Grandma: Today was a busy and hot day. A couple of weeks ago Darian and I helped Grandpa clean out the smoke house but Grandpa had not ever gotten around to taking the trash to the dump. The trash including severeal bags of trash, 3 bicicles, half a dozen cans of paint(or more), vinyl flooring, and some round up bottles. So Darian and I decided that after our work out this morning WE would take the trash to the dump. First we had to open all the cans of paint that still had paint in them and fill them up with cat litter. Some of the cans appeared empty so we weren't too worried about them. I began loading stuff into my CAR and decided to put a 2 gallon can that had oil based black paint (for painting the tin roof) in the back seat on the vinyl floor mat just in case. About the time I got it into the car but before i sat it down the bottom fell out of the can spewing black tarry paint all over the right side, middle seat floor. I had on gloves so i immediately started scooping up the thick black stuff. Sad to say, my car will never be the same. However, Dar and I forged forth continued making trips to the dump and ridded the smoke house of the trash. I looked on the internet on how to remove paint from carpet and it ain't gonna happen :( especially oil based. Tonight we went out to diner with Aunt Ann. See picture.

Darian: Today, I found the one thing I wanted more than anything in the world. Of course, I didn't get it. After me and grandma went to the gym and took out the trash(refer to grandma's) we went and got our nails done. Mine are real pretty. (don't see picture) We were gonna go to the pool but it was too late and we had to eat dinner with Aunt Ann. I finished my book. It was good. I still have to write a five paragraph paper on it. Grandma said she would help me. She's going to read the book next. Woohoo! We're going to Pennsylvania Sunday. I'm excited. That's all. P.s. I don't think Grandpa will be blogging today because he is currently cutting the grass. I'm sure he's sad about missing.

Grandma: This is a blog to answer all of Betsy's questions. Why all day at the library? Why not? Actually, it was on the list. What list you might ask. The list of 100 things to do over summer. Popsicle flavor: Cherry. Made according to the directions on the Kool-aid pack if you want to make your own. We had to make them in bathroom paper cups with craft stick cause we had no popsicle materials. Ashley and Ken bought the suburban from us because Ken's Tahoe was getting in bad shape. Ashley still has her Honda. Ken is in the process of selling the Tahoe. And yes we will bring chocolate back from Hershey. To continue about our day, we stayed at the library from 9 to 3:30 then went to the book store from 3:30 to 5:45. Then onward to boot camp. Pictures coming soon. Maybe. p.s. Grandma: Tonight I am doing my own blogging. Darian snuck in and blogged without me (how rude!). Yesterday was "learn how to sew day." Darian made a top vs a very short dress. It was cute but not really her style. She did a good job sewing. She hated the ironing part. See pic. Today we made popsicles. Pic of Dar eating hers. Dar praticed her diving and canonballing at the pool. More pics.

Tomorrow Dar and I will be spending the whole day at the Library.(9am - 6pm) Please check for our blog tomorrow as we plan to blog from the library. We will have to leave the library a little early for a special Body Rock Boot Camp. Thursday at 6pm. We usually have boot camp on Saturday AM but this Sat is July 4th so we will have it Thursday. Darian: Afternoon, everyone. Today, we went to the pool. I have the best cannonball of all :) And abby taught me how to dive a little bit. Then we came home and ate a popsicle. Also, earlier today i was eating some macaroni and i burnt my tongue and it still hurts really bad. Now i'm brushing my teeth and we're about to go out to eat so i gotta go. Bye.

Ashley - ok...i'm not crazy. it was grammy/darian's fault that i could not log on. shew...i'm on now. i tried to log on from work and was having issues for a long time so i will probably get fired. hope this blogging is worth it. today was a wonderful day - got a great deal on a new-to-me suburban!! it's a green one and already has a JD tag on the front!! perfect! Gotta go!

i guess i have to type it again.
i'd like to start by saying i'm writing this blog under duress.
i woke up at 7:30AM and had to hurry cuz that's late. i left the house with wet hair. Went to DTC and picked up some PC-1760 & PC-1762 samples. Then i prepared 15 1A2 steel drums for some Indulin IPC that i have to ship to India tomorrow. I also took 2 computer based training modules on bloodborne pathogens and hearing conservation. I cheated by skipping through all the talking and taking the test at the end over and over until i passed. BTW: hepititis B is the easiest to catch. I put darian's old phone in the mailbox so lisa could pick it up for kevin so he can have a good phone. Right now kit is sleeping in lilly's bed, not allowed....... i plan to do some laundry and eat something tonight. i will probably also watch bravo for a large portion of the evening. thank you and i hope this was good enough to get to see some pictures.
