Grandma: Well I guess you all know what I did last week! Once everyone left Sat, I start cleaning up. Cleaned out the refrig, cleaned out and reorganized the pantry, cleaned the bathroom and put away the Thanksgiving decorations. Took the trash to the dump and then we went to Texas Steakhouse for supper. (had a $5 coupon) Today Dad got up early to play golf. Dean and Earl played with him. He did not fall down the stairs on the way out thanks to the new light. (Thanks Todd!!) Dean reported that AS went to ER yest with her back. She really needs surgery but is too scared to have it. I went to Sunday school. Adds and I had 6 kids. Adds gave them advent calendars. When I got home dad wanted to go to the Mayflower to eat so I went with him. I had broiled scallops and dad had fried oysters and flounder. It was good! We then came home and I washed my car. I cleaned out the inside too. Well sort of. Just the drivers side because that was the only place that needed it. The back window was so dirty I could almost make a mud pie on it. Anyway it is great now!! I then came in and did some internet shopping. I also packed up Dar's pocket book for shipping. Dad will give it to the UPS guy tomorrow and she will have it back Tuesday by 10:30 am according to the UPS site. I sure hope she can manage two days without it. :D (Dar when she gets her pocket book back!) I also changed out to my new pocket book. It is great! I am now wondering what's for supper. Dad is watching TV and I hope planning something exciting. Dad has been working around the yard picking up pecans. Throwing things at the tree to try to get down pecans. He also ground up some leaves with the lawn mower so the neighbor would not have so many to rake up. Well that's about it! LE&E!!!!

whoa. sorry to hear about pop's pre-dawn wipe out. i didn't know he only had one good knee. but i'm glad he's better.
congrats on the new w/d. 25 years is pretty good.
they have to replace some frame rails on the pathfinder and it looks like ill driving the ol' sonata for at least another week. probably even home for thanksgiving. i'm not paying anything so i'm just waiting it out. i'm not supposed to have pets in the sonata but if i'm coming for thxgiving, knuckles will have to ride.
i went to charlotte to see panthers and falcons with jay and his girlfriend sunday. panthers won. they play miami tonight so i gave the tix away to jimmy, who is on the pool team and a dolphins fan. jimmy is probably 400 plus and his neck is bigger around than his head but thats ok. no other news from here!!

Grandma: So much excitement to report!
First the bad news. Sunday at 5:30am Gramps missed the last step going down the back porch steps and landed on his left knee (that's his good knee). It was dark and he did not have the light on and he thought he was on the ground. He was carrying his golf clubs which he did not drop! His knee is skinned and slightly swollen. Getting out of a chair is a little difficult. He says it is stiff until he gets going. He also reports it is some better today. He went ahead and played golf Sunday in case you were wondering. He said he thought that would keep it from getting stiff. I fussed about the stupidity of not turning on the light. Maybe, just maybe, he learned his lesson. He is the world's worst for not turning a light on.
More bad news with a happy ending! After 25 years of loyal service and a brief illness, the washing machine died. So we had to get another one! We decided to get a new dryer too since the dryer sometimes got very hot. So hot in fact you had to wait until the clothes cooled off to take them out. I only dried when I was home for fear the house would burn down. Anyway we got a GE. The washer is extra large and the spindle thing/agitator in the middle is only a few inches tall, leaving lots of room for clothes. The dryer looks bigger inside too. I guess they made some improvements in the last 25 years!! We did not get a front loader because we were told if the floor is not sturdy and level it shakes a lot and is real loud. Besides this set was half the price of those fancy ones. Bass Appliance delivered, installed and took away the old ones the day after we picked them out. Last night I washed 2 loads for the fun of it! I hope this set last 25 years!
Well that's about it. UB and family are eating Thanksgiving with Dawn. AA will be here. I left Jan a message but no reply yet. Looking forward to seeing youall then. Rocky is excited about family Boot Camp. I do hope you all are planning to attend.

car update. the adjuster came wednesday and said he thinks the body shop will be able to repair the pathfinder. i'm kind of skeptical but we'll see. i have an appointment to drop it of monday at fender mender on ashley phosphate. they should be able to tell once the get it on the lift. menawhile i am riding in a hyundia sontata (sp?). it is small and go-carty but pretty nice.
i'm going to charlotte for the panther game this weekend.
like everyone, we had lotsa rain lately esp wednesday. no other excitment!1

hey. friday dave and i were coming back from lunch and got rear ended by a guy on rivers ave. we pulled over in parking lot and waited for the cops. the gut had insurance and today a adjuster is coming to look at the car. i think it's going to be too expensive to fix but we'll see. 140,000 miles, i guess it is about time for a new one.
then saturday and part of sunday i made b a tv table. it turned out good but i haven't seen it painted yet.
sunday b, d, and i had dinner at carrabbas with UR.
while working on b's tv table i noticed the water heater in the garage had a slow leak, so i changed that yesterday. it was very easy to do since it was easy to get to.
dave has gone to florida to play in a baseball tournament so i was off yesterday but working wed, thurs and fri.
perhaps more blogging when the insurance adjuster comes!

last week i went to asheville for a meeting. the leaves were looking good and i took a car ride on the parkway and rode my bike one day on a mountain road that was suggested on the internet. i also took some classes and bought some books. there was a lady in the exhibit hall that was selling shoes 280 bux!! but they were the most comfortable shoes ever. even more than sketchers. but i did not buy them.
near the hotel was an earth fare grocery store. they have all the foods for rich hippies, like whole foods if you didnt know. they had a salad bar that was so great but expensive. i ate there twice. we ate downtown with a drug dealer i mean drug rep. we had tapas, i had some sweetbreads and some bluefish and some taco with lamb cheek meat. it was fun.
i saw my old friend john howland from vet school and his 3 year old clinic. he is doing well but working hard.
more later as today looks not too busy..

here are a couple of great pics from the weekend. not in this order...but... emma and amoret - same costume - but they told me they didn't plan it. emma was a vampire...not sure what amoret said that she was. anyway, had fun getting them ready. we spray painted emma's hair black with white streaks. that was fun until it go all over everything by the end of the night. it was all over her hands and her face - i told her that she looked like a homeless person that lived under a bridge (cuz she looked so dirty). she liked that. we had about 10 people at the most - it was great. went over to kevin and kristi's house. the big orange cat is Bull. he's so big and great. as you can see a normal sized cat next to him. No one can EVER say that sam is big again after seeing Bull. of course olivia was a lobster. she loved it and went to every house. the bull dogs are getting bigger. T - i really thing you should consider getting one. they are sooooooooooooooooooo sweet and cute. that's all for now b/c i'm ready for bed. i will blog more later and hopefully more pics, too, b/c that is full. Grandma: Well another busy weekend. We got up early Sat and went to the Outer Banks where no fish were biting. So, we came home and were home in time for supper. Sunday I helped out with the Samaritan's' Purse hot dog lunch at church. We collected 69 boxes and the goal was 130 but there are two weeks until the final deadline so hopefully we will get closer to our goal. Then dad and I went to Sam's and bought a lot of stuff. We went to Sam's in Goldsboro, then to Outback right down the road. Dad was starved because he did not attend or eat hot dogs as I had. Anyway he got a meal and I got a wedge salad. Back home for the Amazing Race.

Earlier in the week we got some Chinese takeout. My fortune cookie said " You are working hard. :0 )" I told dad even the Chinese know how hard I work.

Very busy at work but all is going well there.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Thanksgiving. I would like to formally invite one and all to boot camp the Saturday after Thanksgiving. After all the Turkey eating we will all need it. I think it will be fun for us all to go, so bring you exercise duds and shoes or plan to make an early run to Target Sat am for new ones. Please let me know if you plan to attend as I will have to preregister youall.

Friday 10/30

OK...I can't sleep. been have this issue - if you want to call it an issue for some time now. i've been so busy at work that i come home and work for several hours after i put em to bed...then get on-line for various shopping and ebay selling. oh well...it's 12:27AM now and i'm wide awake! it's very hard to get up in the morning! enough about that - i LOVE the pictures and the blogging about the weekend. sure was windy a top the bridge. i guess since you were missing boot camp you had to do something...right? everyone appears to be having a great time - i hate that i was not there :( nothing much happening. went to fall festival tonight. sorry pops, you didn't win the big money. i however won in a silent auction a mirror that emma's class made. she will proudly display that in her room when i get around to hanging it. i did bid on big HUGE pet bed with tons of dog items, but didn't win that. i feel like there is more - OH - i did have to get reading glasses. i've been having a lot of headaches and he's hoping this will fix them. just got them two days ago. too early to tell. also having a yard sale this weekend and ken and i are going to chimney rock in a couple of weeks for our anniversary. well, i'd better try really hard to get some shut eye. i miss and love everyone!! ashley

Grandma: Well we have had a busy and exciting week. Wednesday we went to Emma's Girl Scout bridging ceremony. She is now an official Girl Scout. Lots of people were there and they had some great snacks afterwards. (crunchy Cheetos and candy corn pumpkins). Thursday night we went to Emma's last ballgame of the season where Emma caught a fly ball! Friday I got off an hour early and pops and I went to Charleston for a visit. Friday night we viewed some home improvements. New windows and purple bathroom! Saturday we decided to walk over the new Cooper River Bridge. I had to get up early to go to Target to buy some appropriate clothing because all I had was jeans. Betsy tried to lend me some sneaks but 1/2 size too small would = blisters. Anyway I now have a new outfit to wear to boot camp plus new sneaks. Things usually work out for the best!! The bridge walk was great. I ran part of the way, racing Dar and of course winning. She claimed she stopped because her hair was falling down, but I think it was because I was beating her. We then helped Bets load the treadmill and took it to Play It Again Sports, who gave B $50 for it. Little did they know they could have had it for free as none of us were planning to reload that two ton monster! On ward to Hyman's for a stomach aching seafood feast. Then back at to Bets for a power tool pumpkin carving. Top step my idea drawn and cut by Todd and Bets with saw. Middle, Dar's design and carved with a knife by Dar. Bottom Internet design chosen by Bets and carved by Todd with his skill saw. Bets' friend Will helped out too. I roasted some pumpkin seeds according to Fanny Farmer. They turned out pretty good. Sunday we got up and went to Denny's shinny diner to eat. I got a really big stack of pancakes which I couldn't eat. Pops and I came home. He went to work out and I stayed home and worked out with the vacuum cleaner. Today it is Monday again and back to work. Dad just came home and said nobody but Adds would need to read this and I said I knew that but had decided to blog it anyway!LE&E! even Mondays!

It has been a loooong time no blog ): Sorry about that. My mom has been pestering me about bloggin so here i am (: Let's see. I don't even know when the last time i blogged was so i suppose i'll start fresh. School has been going very well. I got all A's on my progress report :D yay. And we're getting report cards next week so hopefully it'll be good. We had to do a big English project a while back and i procrastinated on it A LOTTT ): oh well (: I know my mom has blogged about my addiction to Farmville butt seriously, it's amazing. I'm on level 24 now :DD I'm even playing right now as we speak. Planting some pineapple and strawberries (: Uhhh, i remember saying on here that spanish would be real hard since i got a quiz in like the first week of school butt actually it's turned out to be my favorite class. We do have alot of work butt i like having different grades in my class. it's alot more fun than all the other classes. Yesterday i got 2 sweaters for the winter. I still don't have a jacket ): i can't find one that i like anywhere. Butt my sweaters are nice (: Annd, i personally can NOT wait for Halloween :D i'm going to hang out with cara. We're going to walk around the neighborhood. Also, Saw 6 is coming out soon. I am super excited for that :DDDD Um, what else? Well, Grammy and my mom are talking on the phone and told me i need to blog butt little did they know i already was! Haha, and also Grandma; i would LOVE to have a shirt more than anything (: And sorry for leaving my skin on the farm :D
Well, i can't wait untill thanksgiving when i get to see everyone. and also i can't wait untill grandma and grandpa come visit. and last butt not least, i love everyone and everything! :D bye.

hi everyone! it's been awhile since i've blogged. i know that i told you that i'd blog more often, but that didn't happen - sorry. lets see what's been going on...finally went back to work last week. can't say that i'm happy about it...me and emma tried to figure out a way that i could stay home, but we decided that we liked to shop too much. recovery is going great. i may have to go back to boot camp sooner than 6 weeks. i feel kinda yucky since i've been eating everything in site and no exercise.
went to the eye doctor this week b/c i've been having lots of headaches and i have to get reading glasses...no laughing please.
ken and i are making over abby's room this weekend. the walls are teal which is very pretty. tomorrow we will rearrange things and clean it up a bit. i'll photo it when complete. oh and i puttyed up some places around the house and sam kept trying to lick it. i'm not sure why.
ken is now sleeping on the couch snoring VERY loudly. i'm sure he'd like that i put that in the blog. well, it's almost off to bed time for me! did i report that olivia is going to be a lobster for halloween?? photo's to come of that, too. she stands frozen in it...so photos should be easy. she has her pink dog sweater on right now since it's cold out. wassup. well i'm sure everybody knows but... thursday i drove to wilson after work and friday morning dad and i went to outerbanks to go fishing. for lunch we ate turkey sandwiches from the hess gas station which we both thought were gross. we caught two small fish. the weather was great though and i found a piece of sea glass that was twice the size of some other pieces of sea glass. michael met us on the beach after he got off work. once it got dark we gave up on fishing and went to michael house, got cleaned up and went to eat seafood. softshell crabs awesome and fried pickles.
we stayed at michaels and the next day we ate biscuits from a gas station (delicious) and went fishing again. only two more small ones. then we returned to wilson and went with ma to texas steak house. the waiter said " my name is tito" and dad said "that's an interesting name" and the waiter said "well my name's not really tito." i el oh el-ed. then we went to adds' and saw everybody and even felt of a small bump on sam and saw the camper. then mom and i got some pampered chef extras. i got some tongs and ma got a garlic press.
sunday we ate lunch of ribs and bills sides with everyone plus aunt ann. after carrot cake we walk to the pond and the kids went fishing and they all caught some brim.
then i drove home and listened to the panthers game on the radio (they won - finally). i stopped by b's to deliver her present and peanuts and darian's halloween bucket.
back to work today nothing major. tomorrow dave is going to try to remove a cancerous kidney from a cat. peace out!

hola all! first of all ... pop's b-day tomorrow! Hooray!
i'd like to report that saturday me and dar tore down the wallpaper in the b-room and painted it purple! it's lovely! i'll post pics when we're finished decorating it... yes, decorating.
also, i purchased a flatscreen tv on sunday - it wont be in until the 14th but we're still excited.
i've been looking after cara and her mom's dogs while they are on a cruise.
i'm making stir fry tonight and lilly is going to be a skeleton for halloween.
i think i'm all caught up now - i keep telling Dar to blog and that everyone keeps asking but she'd rather play farmville. i don't think she LE&E anymore, but i do! glad baby's alright and mom's certifiable.

Grandma: Sorry, long time no blog! I am trying to think of all the exciting things that have been happening lately. Dad and I went fishing a couple of weks ago. Here is a pic of a fish Pops caught. Todd is coming this weekend to go fishing. I sure hope they can do better than this.

I too am glad the dud GB is gone. I am including a pic of Adds from the hospital. Taken in pre op holding where the wait was looooonnnnnngggggg.

I have finally finished my online mental health class. I am now certified or maybe certifiable. This week meeting Monday, work Tues, Wed, Thurs and meeting in Greenville Friday.

Boot camp was rough this week. Trey (age 25) was running the show. He had us do about a million crunches in different positions. 10 in each position. He counted to ten so fast I was usually on 3 or 4 when he got to 10. We all told him we were not 25 anymore and he said we could act and feel 25. No sympathy. I am not sure if Adds really needed surgery or just need to skip boot camp for a while. Rocky has had some "I survived Boot Camp" shirts made. Dar do you want one? You will have to blog your answer!

Adds gave me Prof Layton's new DS game so I probably will not be able to blog or talk on the phone for the next week or two. (Dar game hints??)

I am also waiting for Em's blog. She is getting home early this week so no excuses.

Lunch with AA today and a visit to the sickly one.

Sorry I cannot think of any excitment or anything else to blog.

Adds under the weather

thanks all for the well wishes. things are much better - but unfortunately, I'm not allowed to return to work until the week after next -- nor am I supposed to drive. I'm a little sore around the belly area and the bruises are turning all shades of beautiful colors. I'm sorry I don't have a picture to post of the dud gall bladder. I could photo the four cuts on my belly, but that would just be sick - I don't even like to look at it - so I won't subject anyone else to that either. Oh, I tried a little Hibachi today - probably not the best idea in the world.

Not much else is going on. Emma has been coming home every day as a car rider with various neighbors and now she wants me to quit work and stay home all of the time. I have to admit that it's really been nice - too bad I need the money.

I hear T is coming next weekend! If you have time, I may want you to come over and do a little kitty work up on Sam. He has some various lumps and bumps that are bothering me...but not enough to have them removed. He's supposed to go to the vet in November for his senior check up - so if you don't have time, I'll have them check him out. He's still great as ever!

Where have B and D been??? I guess they have given up blogging all together. That makes me sad.

We did go camping a couple of weeks ago...here's a couple of pictures from that. see everyone soon!! Ashley

wassup this weekend i went to beaufort sc. buddy was there. he had some pipes freeze and burst in his airstream trailer and helped him fix some of them. of course all the pipes were in tight places and it was kind of hard but i got it done. we also did some bike riding down to the hunting island state park. i've probably talked about this park before but it a place where the forest meets the beach. big trees are laying on the sand all bleached out with roots exposed etc. it really is cool. i also got at least 6 fire ant bites on my left foot. kent's dad died this weekend after a long time in a nursing home and chad and i are going to the wake this afternoon. i saw b yesterday for her birthday and contributed to the flat tv fund. thats all. i am the mvp of this blog. step it up people!

whoa ten years since the flood! time really flies. this week has been kind of snoozer for me too. i did get b's cell phone back from charles the other day. last weekened i watched georgia beat south carolina (kent's team) and then sunday drove to charlotte to see the panthers lose big time!!!
i did a little bike riding yesterday and today i worked. i had a crawlfish po' boy for lunch. pretty good. i am glad that adds loves her job!!

well, it's my birthday. alright.. close enough.
Just wanted to check in, i know it's been too long.
let me see.... this week has been kind of a snooze. i've been playing professor layton most of the time and sometimes i just pass the puzzles over to dar because i don't like to think too much. my goal is to finish it tonight. because of professor, i haven't cooked one single meal this week and darian had to remind me to do laundry. that's what happens!
here's some good news - dar will be getting her braces off in 6 weeks or less! we are still waiting on those pesky last 2 teeth to come in, but while we wait - they are going to take the braces off so she doesn't get stains.they will have to go back on later but still exciting!
oh! i have this! Friday, me and dar are riding bikes in the hood - we decide to ride over to T's to pick up peanuts (which are awesome btw!) -well, somewhere along the way my cell was lost.... we rode and looked and walked and called for hours - NOTHING! todd sent a text to it saying that this phone is lost - please contact him. in spite of all this, me and d return home with our heads down and our quarters hurting (that's what happens when you ride a bike too much) and i called and had the phone suspended. saturday morning i activated an old phone to use - which was good that i didnt have to buy a new one but bad cuz it didnt have all my numbers and such. Sunday we went to the mall for on-sale b-suit shopping (that's birthday suit J/K !!) when T calls - someone had called him and had found my phone! T, being awesome, went to meet him at the hot spot and now celly in back in my loving arms! i know it's a heart warming story!
i guess i've blabbed enough - i'll tell D to blog but you know how much she listens to me!

Grandma: Well ten years ago today we had Hurricane Floyd and the big flood. I really don't know why this is such big news. I personally would like to forgot it. Lets remember something cheerful and happy. Betsy's b'day is Monday (or Wednesday if you perfer.) I hope she is cheerful and happy about being a year older.
Me and dad had a great weekend. It started with boot camp on Sat am as usual. Then we came home and I cut down some dead bushes and pulled up weeds in all the flowerbeds around the house. Dad sprayed round up all around and hopefully not on any more bushes. Then we decided to treat ourself to dinner at the Angus Barn. WOW! Sunday we had to run lots of errands. I had a $50 gift card (cell phone rebate) and a $25 gift card for getting a prescription (knee pain med last month) filled at CVS. So we got alot of stuff with out really spending alot. It was great. Since then, going to work and coming home. Same as everybody I guess. Todd, I loved the video. Especialy the part about "doing the dishes" It took me a minute to realize that you of course meant dog dishes and I don't know why I was thinking lunch dishes for the staff. I had to laugh at myself. Dad and I are going to the Outer Banks for a fishing trip. Leaving early Sat am coming back Sunday pm. I won't be fishing but sitting on the beach reading. Gus will be staying at the vet. His birthday #9 is Sat and I hope he is not going to be to sad to be spending it at the vet. I will ask the staff to sing Happy Birthday to him and give him a special treat. I am sure they will be thrilled to do that. I will report back fishing trip news next week. Betsy and Dar we are still missing your blogging. Dar you said you would be bloggin after you finished your homework. I am thinking 1) you have so much homework you don't have time for blogging or 2) you don't have any homework so can't blog after your homework. PA. Still loving everybody and everything!

Saturday

good morning all. i'm not a bootcamp b/c the dentist told me that i couldn't exercise for a week - not sure if i even said...but the cyst ended up just being extra bone - so they just grounded it down. wish he could have figured that one out and i wouldn't have gone through all of this. a little sore still, but it's the food getting down there that really a bit irritating.
emma is doing great in the 4th grade. she has SOOOO much homework! i thought about talking to the teacher about it, but Kristi (who's daughter Shay had her last year) said that would probably not go over too well. not sure what to do at this point....but twice last week she was up to 10 trying to finish everything. she does have dance and softball and girl scouts, but i want her to do extra stuff, too. her grade have been great...so we'll just keep going like we going and hopefully things will ease off a bit - Kristi said "not likely..." but i'll keep thinking it might anyway.
nothing else much going on here. i changed out all of my bulbs for the energy saving ones. i watched a tv thing about how much it will save in your bill. of course, it will take a good 6 months just to get the money back from what i spent to buy them - haha! oh well, it was raining and i was bored.
work has been crazy! i'm the merger person for our group. colonial bank has 381 ATMs!!! i'm sure will will close some of them, but it's the biggest conversion in our history! i'm actually loving every minute of it right now. i like to be busy and i love my job!!
OH - forgot the most important thing....there is a store on 301 (past Parkers on the left) called Truely Unique. Denise went a couple of weeks ago and suggested that i go. She said that she thought the lady could be a witch! i loved her. she sells all of this crazy tea and all kinds of spices. they do palm readings sometimes and tea tastings, etc. she was a little out there, but sooooo super nice. she also had lots of love birds that she raised. anyways, next time you happen to be going that way, please stop by. it's an experience!!!!
well, enough for now. me and em are going to the library to get a book - emma signed up for some type of reading program at school - not sure why b/c she does not like to read! anyways, i will encourage all i can!
good to see you last week T -Kent is VERY nice. i'm not sure where B and Dar are these days. have they given up blogging?? Oh and T, I could not view the video tour...but great other pictures. emma loved the hall of fame video...she kept saying that you are famous now!

Grandma: Sorry I have been such a slack blogger. We too had an exciting weekend. Friday night Todd and Kent came by and we had a Parkers' family style dinner. Love that grease! Saturday dad had to work. I went to book camp and then did some house hold chores. Sunday after SS, we went to William B. Umstead State park in Raleigh. We walked 2.75 miles on an intermediate trail. It was fun but a little tough. Lots of roots and ups and downs. We saw a doe and sweet baby fawn walking quietly through the forest. Not scared at all. Use to people passing by, I guess. I forgot my camera so did not get a pic. Sorry. Monday we got up the rest of the peanuts and boiled and bagged them. We also cooked out, ribs and a big chicken. We ate the ribs; then picked the chicken off the bone and saved it for chicken sandwiches. I ate one last night and it was yummy! Rudy, Bryson hunted Sat and on Monday they came back with Landon. A good time was had by all. Dad took Gus for a little bit Mon am but didn't get much action before it stared to rain. Last week someone gave dad a 5 gallon bucket of cucumbers, so I made two batches of pickles. Stayed late at school one night to meet with a family last week too. I am also required to take an online class for a mental health certification, so have been working on that. Emma starts playing ball this week. I know that will be fun. My schedule just doesn't leave much time for anything else, like blogging but I will try to do better. Betsy and Dar where are you?!?! Emma how about some news from the 4th grade?

end of summer = end of blogging?

well i had a big time in raleigh/wilson/greenville this weekend. thursday we tailgated at the nc state stadium and went to the game. we had some tickets for ebay which were for this suite that went the entire length of the field. inside they had all the food in the world. the game was boring but the stadium was really cool. the have a big statue of 5 or 6 lifesize wolves climbing on a rock outside the stadium. the next day we went to wilson and i drove kent around wilson and showed him stuff. he was impressed but he said my driving made him sick.
we went to parkers with mom and dad and adds and ken. i was just like parkers. i also got some more pickles and boiled peanuts. i already ate a half a bag.
we had to get up early to meet michael and krista at the greenville tailgate. that game was exciting but appalachian state lost. their quaterback could not play because he had cut his foot with a lawnmower a month earlier.
sunday we drove back and i had to go right back to summerville for fantasy football draft. i slept better than ever sunday night.

Shew! i have been cleaning for the past 8 hours -- pretty much straight. today there were about 25 flies in the house and after killing them...things just felt kinda gross. so...i decided to clean. I dusted the blinds which lead to cleaning the windows, which lead to moving the furniture and cleaning baseboards. i also decided to take down and toss out the fish tank. i think is about 15 years old and some of the pumps were starting to make some strange noises. i think I'm going to get a tall roundish one to replace it with...eventually. i went around also and clean some of the doorways that had lots of finger prints. then i vacuumed and vacuumed ALOT. i just can believe how gross and dusty everything was. maybe this made up for the boot camp that i missed on Saturday. i did do a lot of sweating.
not sure if i ever mentioned, but Sadie (bulldog next door) had her puppies last Monday. i went back over there today to see them and they are soooooooooo sweet and cute. the grunt like little pigs. there were 8 of them, but one of them didn't make it. :(
I'm getting ready to take a shower and play a little professor Layton - I'm probably about 1/2 way through it. Dar, did you ever get it??? it's fun..but the puzzles so far are pretty easy.
i also braided Emma's hair tonight for a little wavy action in the morning. hopefully, it will look OK. well, i better go! talk to everyone later!!!!

Grandma: It has been a busy week for me and will probably be busy for the next couple of weeks. So nothing has happened except work. Today we went to boot camp. Adds did not go because she has a cold. I too have a cold but toughed it out. Then we came home and I helped dad get up peanuts. We now have another 4 gallons of them in the freezer. (Todd, be sure to bring a cooler so you can take some back to SC.) I then cleaned up the house and did some ironing, took a shower and we went to Outback. Yum. I have fallen in love with their wedge salad. Groceries from Grnvl Aldi. Ribs and baked beans for lunch tomorrow. We are also having a breakfast at Sunday School tomorrow and it is SS graduation for EM. Dar, since yo have a new camera I expect you to post some pics! Please! Well that's about it. LE&E.

wassup. yesterday i was going to the beach and stopped at chick fil a on james island to get a drink and when i got to the window the girl gave me a FREE chicken biscuit and a FREE breakfast mini, which was a biscuit cut in thirds with a chicken nugget in each section. i felt like it was my lucky day. i went to beach and rode the bike around some. not much else is happening. one week untill my trip to nc for football games. kent and i got ticket for the state v south carolina game on ebay. pre game meal, soft drinks and snacks and air conditioning with seats available outside. also a parking pass real close to the stadium. i still cant get asu v ecu tickets and will just wait til get to greenville hope to find one. kent might not go to that game because it is at noon and will likely be hot. kent's real delicate like that sometimes. plus he doesnt really care about the teams. we just had a short but heavy rain shower. that is all i can think of

First Day of School

Here are some first day of school pictures. Sam really wanted to go, too, but he couldn't. The first day was great according to Emma. She even was excited that she had homework which she is working on now. Before she started on it, we decided to eat the rest of the peanuts. Emma asked me to tell Grandpa that the peanuts were FANTASTIC! Please don't give us anymore....they are very addicting and we don't need them. Well, that's all for now. First would like to wish Dar a happy, happy birthday! I hope you had a great day!!!!!! Nothing much going on now that the extreme room makeover is complete. We went to Sunday school today and then came home to say good-bye to the kitties (Kristi is coming home today). We took them back down to her house. We were a little sad. Then we went out to eat with AA. Then went to Dicks with Grandpa and Grandma. We did Mad Libs all the way there. They are not as funny as they used to be. Anyways, got some new shoes and sock (wore the others out from bootcamp) - hehe!! Anyways, sure am glad that i didn't move to SC - want to know why????? I was the first to get boiled peanuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd like to say that they were soooooooooooooo good. Emma and I almost finished the whole gallon bag. Emma made me stop eating them. Grandma: No real news from me except I started back to Boot Camp. Threes weeks out and I am really out of shape. Rocky told me not to worry I would get back fast. Hope so. I sadly gained .4 lb this week.
Todd - I am really kind of sad about James. I know you got to do what you got to do. And it won't be long before the girls are hating the weekend thing. But maybe not if it is extra pay. Beach bike riding sounds like so much fun. I am glad Michael and Krista are having a great vacation. I know you hav enjoyed having them around. Oh, the comment about Lily is about a girl that worked at the GYM, not the dog Lily. We are looking forward to seeing you soon. Hope you can find those tickets.
Adds - Keep up the great Boot Camp work and weight loss. It seems to take forever to lose and get in shape but it will be worth all the boot camp pain.

I had to help Grandpa with the peanut harvest yeaterday. We will be havesting every Saturday for a month or so. Anyone that wants to join us sure can. At least he cooked them outside so they wouldn't stink up the house.

ME. target lamp right?? i love it. also, i love tiger in the corner :) haha. i'm sorry to hear about grammy's new school moving. i can't remember which one cooper is though. high school is going great. ashley, i was a bit scared. i'm slowly learning my way around better now though so it's cool. haha. grandma; ohsorry, i forgot to put spanish on there. it's after english. and English 2 CP is because i took english 1 last year in 8th so it's 2 and the CP means College Prep. There's also AP. I don't know what that means. And then regular classes :) We've already had a quiz in spanish too. That teacher will be hard /: Other than that it's good. So it's 10:56 p.m. Only about an hour left :D woo! My momma told me i can wake her up at 12 and i get to open my presents then :))) yay. Oh! i almost forgot. So i got Emma and Ashley's present in the mail today! and i opened it already. Haha. I couldn't wait. And i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it! :DD For those who don't know, it's a golf club cover and it's a dinosaur! :) my favorite. He's already on my golf club. I'll try and post a picture later tonight :) Also, he has nice teeth. Haha. My mom also let me open another present because Me, Cara, and my mom were going to go to frankies for my early birthday :) haha, so i opened my camara :D and he's amazing. Well, i guess i'll finish this up. I don't think i have anything else to report. Gonna go paint my nails :) ile&e.

rocky tried his best to kill us tonight - it almost worked. i don't really know what else to say - nothing much going on here. Oh, emma and amoret are in the same class - not sure if i said that already, but it's the best news we've ever had! bye for now!

hey it thursday and i am working. i went to the beach and did some boat riding and fishing with michael and krista. we went a artificial reef 4 miles off folly beach. according to the maps the reef made of a sucken house boat and parts of the cooper river bridge. the old scary metal one. we caught sea bass, some triggerfish, one pompino and a few tautogs (which i never heard of but michael said that was what they were.) i was fun we pulled up to restaraunt (red's ice house on shem creek) AND ATE SOME SHRIMP. whoops on the all caps but i'm not going to delete all that once i typed it.
got new windows. they look good.
sounds like d and grandma have exciting new school year with new friends.
what is the news with lily?
kitty has starting crapping outside the litter box. she is having a hard time getting around but still acts about the same. i plan on taking off toworrow to go back to the beach. they leave on saturday and then things are back to normal. only 2 weeks until the big eastern nc football trip. i having a hard time finding ecu appalachian tix. more later!

Yea! Dar is back! I'm so glad...but it did remind me that i didn't mail your b-day gift....again...I've had it ready since Tuesday and haven't mailed it yet - UGH! i'll get it mailed tomorrow so hopefully it will make it on time. i'm so happy to hear that you loved HS! sounds like your classes are going to be hard - are you scared? If you're scared, say you're scared. hehe. i never took honors anything....so i guess you didn't get your smarts from me :)
i've been so busy at work. I've had to bring stuff home most every night for about a week...but most of the time i get on-line and get on the Internet first and then i don't feel like working anymore--so I don't. that might be the case again tonight.
right now i just noticed that a two hour special about octomom is on...i may have to watch it but i don't know why.
today was the big weigh in. i lost 3 lbs this week. that makes it a total of 15 so far. hard to feel encouraged when i have like 50 more to go and still things fit the same. time...it takes time...
yes, i love boot camp. we didn't have it last night b/c just 3 of us were signed up so Rocky cancelled it. Pops and i went anyway. i walked on the treadmill the whole time and dad did the treadmill and the machines. i still sweated a lot, so i guess that's ok.

Grandma: Great at last blogging Dar!! What happened to Spanish class and what is english 2 CP? Just to clearify the tumor was actually red. I don't know why the picture was orange. I have not done much exerising due to knee problems but am going to Boot Camp tomorrow night even if it kills me. :0 !! Maybe exercise will get it well faster. I am excited about Adds being in the class now. I am back at work and so far so good. We are getting another nurse #15 so we got some new office space and I am one of the chosen ones to move along with 4 others. I will be moving tomorrow. :))) The kind of sad news is I am going to have to give up Cooper Elementary :(and take on Corinth Holder High School.( If I complain alot I might not have to do it.) It is an easier assignment and I should be happy but I have made alot of good friends at Cooper so will be sad to leave them. CHHS opens next year and that is when I will change. More good news at work is that I will be mentoring a nursing student from ECU. One of just two nurses chosen for that honor :)It will be nice to have some extra help. Gramps is outside cuting grass and fixing up a place for dove hunting. That it! Thanks to Bets for the abbrev. ile&e!

darian; long time no blog. sorry everyone! well, today was the first day. how exciting! i thought high school was pretty amazing. alot of people didn't like it though. i only got lost ONE time :D woohoo! :) all of my teachers are alright.
my schedule for grandma;
1st period i have Global Studies Honors with Mrs. Wilkerson.
2nd period i have Geometry Honors with Mrs. Gaddy.
3rd period i have Physical Science Honors with Mrs. Craft
4th period i have Pe with Coach Gallus but actually i don't really have him because they split us up by boys and girls so now i have coach joseph.
5th period i have English 2 CP with Mrs. Hanclosky (who likes that name? :) me)
6th period is lunch! :D which is cool because we finally get to sit anywhere we want and not with our class so that's good. i sat with mary, chandler, wesley, and kyle. And melaina for a little while but then she moved tables. We're too cool for her, i guess? :)

And so yeah, i really love high school. Everyone is towering over me though! Even margaret who used to be way shorter than me grew like _______________ that much. I'm not too excited for a full year of p.e. because i have to dress out alot. but we're getting lockers for p.e. to put our clothes in and stuff so that's good. i haven't even been to my regular locker yet. i'm not sure where it's at. Haha. I'm still learning my way around. I got a bunch of back to school clothes so i'm reeeaaalll happy about that :D some people commented me about my new pants and shoes so that was cool. And i got a new bookbag :) he's cute. speaking of cute, i'm really loving that picture of grandma's tumor :P haha, grossss! i'm glad it's out though. No one likes an orange blob in their knee! I was really surprised to hear the news about Lily. Who would've guessed it. I like how ashley is now a boot camp member :) now she knows what i had to go through all summer :D haha. justkidding, i loved it :) that reminds me, my p.e. teacher said that we were going to be stepping on the little step up boxes. sound familiar? haha. I got science homework on the very first day. I already did it though because i'm such a good student ;) haha. tonight big brother comes on and there was a scandel in the house! so i'm excited to see that. Also we're gonna have pasta for my first day since pasta is my favorite. i had to skip lunch today at school because melaina said i coudn't use a check so i went back to my table to get some money and the line got like really long so then i didn't feel like waiting in line and then it turned out that i could use a check! :o That stunk. I was really hungry when i got home so my mom got me some french fries :) yum. we're getting new windows soon. That will be great. Our windows are gross. Haha. I haven't been doing much this summer. Just hanging out with some friends and stuff. I went to a couple of school events and such like schedule pick up and orientation but those weren't that great. I got my ID picture taken on schedule pick up day but we're getting those tomorrow. Sorry, i don't have much to report except things about school so everything keeps going back to that. Um, what else? I will definately try and start blogging more for real! I will try and do it everyday after my homework :) Haha. Cara is going to call me later and tell me about how her first day went so i better get going. Hope everyone has a first day-y day :)

hey michael and krista came down thursday. we went out to eat and then stopped by kent's barn to hang out. they were impressed. friday they did the downtown thing while i worked and saturday we went to the beach. michael rented a condo that has a boat dock with a lift. we did a little boat riding saturday and sunday. saturday was michaels bday so we ate at the crab shack. i had grilled scallops shrimps and fish in little bowl and boiled potatoes. i was quite good.
i have been bike riding for fun and exercise. i don't take knuckles because it is too far.
i saw b today when she brought the yard sale table back to the clinic. i got the car a cross the street to get the brake pads replaced. i am waiting for dave to finish up so he can drive to lunch but he is taking forever. the girls told me last week its getting time for james to retire. he just can't do it anymore. he has arthritis and can't hold the animals and the girls are alaways worried about him falling down. i don't think he's gonna take it well but it needs to happen. i think i'm gonna tell him he needs to retire at the end of the year.

Hola! Today is Sunday and I'm just sitting here checking emails, etc and thought I'd blog a bit. Nothing much going on -- except for BB&T announces it biggest conversion EVER! It's Colonial Bank in AL. There are 350 ATMs (I think - the best I can figure out). I'm sure we will close a few in FL - they are located in 5 states. It's getting ready to be a busy time for us!!!

Helped Mom keep the nursery today at church - whew - there are some crazy whinny children! No, really, it's quite fine. I can take just about anything for 40 minutes. One little boy had to go to the bathroom and had to be completely naked for it - hahaha. I did tell him that he didn't have to remove his socks and he was OK with that. Not sure if he even really went, but he told me he did. They are all pretty funny!!

Went to eat Mexican for lunch - now I'm feeling a bit full. We might take the boat out later - hopefully it won't rain.

Couple of comments:

1. Pop - my legs are a little sore today. I have never run so much in my life. You did really great, too - except for the time we were supposed to be running and you and Rocky took a short cut back to the gym - I think that's cheating. Maybe I'll hang with you guys next time.

2. B - how was the yard sale? I hope that you sold most everything so you didn't have much to clean up afterwards. Please advise ASAP.

3. T - Did you get your windows? I'll be ready for a picture when you do. Also, seen anything cool in your creek lately??

4. D - I'm very sorry that you will have to be grounded. You have not blogged since you left and I'm very sad. Maybe you are just busy and that's OK, but you could at least say hello. Oh and you have a B-day coming up - any suggestions for me????

5. Ma - Not sure why I asked to see your tumor. That's kinda gross - and BIG!!! Your knee looks really great. I saw it today when you showed V. It really has seemed to heal fast! I know it still hurts, but it looks great!! Thanks for the books, etc. I have not started a new book yet - perhaps tonight.

Well, not much else to report, so I'm going now. Emma should know her teacher next week - she's going to the beach with Roger, but I told her I'd go by and find out for her and call her. I'll advise when I find out. LEAE!!!

It sounds like fun! Does Knuckles get to go? 2. B & D - pic and perhaps list of what is for sale in case I want something. 3. D - What is your schedule and who do you know in your classes and when is your first day? Have you picked out a first day outfit? 4. A - What could be wrong with a 12 pound weight loss!?? Do you still have the capris I repaired with a heart patch? I sure hope so, they use to be your favs. When you can wear them again you will be perfect. You will lose inches at the gym which is better than pounds! 5. E - Have you picked out a fourth grade 1st day back to school outfit? When you find out who your teacher is and who is in your class, we want to know! I start back tomorrow. We will be adding another nurse! Great news. That will lighten the load. Adds - Hello all! I was glad to see all the blogging. I really love it - keeps us all up to date on the happening! I know you will love the windows, T - it will be great! Also, who knew you had a kangaroo skin?!?!?!? I teared up a little from laughter. Good job on the yard sale - I can't wait to find out what you made from all of yours and Dar's treasures - there has to be so many that are worth so much!! Sorry about the burn. Why is there no picture on here of that???? I also think Mom should post the picture of her tumor on here. PA. I'd also like to give a little shout out to pops for hanging with me at Bootcamp. We have really bonded through this torture!! Thanks for reporting the weight loss last week. I went today and lost 3 lbs this week - so a total of 12 so far. Kinda sucks b/c I have so much to lose that this 12 lbs doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm committed...so it will happen. If eating better isn't doing it, the 15 lbs of sweat that comes out during the workout will!! Good job blogging everyone! I so love it!!!
Today, me, Emma, Amoret, Shay and Kristi (Shay's mom) went to Raleigh for the day. We ate at Kanki and just did some random shopping. Emma wants so yellow converse tennis shoes. Of course, we could not find her size....so after this blog, I plan to search the internet. Hopefully I can find some.
Another fun things that's been going on lately is Emma has been questioning me a LOT about the bird and the bees. We went to the library and checked out and read a couple of books. UGH!!!!!

Grandma: Last night I decided to call Jan to see how UH was doing. (not very well, I'm afraid.) I also told her about our problem. She thinks we need to stay put and not pay a cent. She pointed out any number of things dad has done for the partnership and farm. She also pointed out UB could not do anything to us without the partnership agreeing and they don't. AA also agrees but does not want her name brought up with UB. So we are going to sit tight and see what happens. I am trying to stop worrying. Have a worry free day!

hey all. today at work dave took grapefruit sized mass out of a basset hound's adbomen. it was a capsule full of pus. i had never seen anything like that before, we will be sending away for pathology. also a rottweiller bit me a little on the thumb. nothing else is happening. new windows come in one week

hello all!! i'm sorry for not blogging! i told d she needed to as well but then she walked out the door so...........
last week was busy. here we go.
monday - d picked up her school schedule. i took her, but wasn't allowed in. she has someone she knows in all her classes so that's good news.
tuesday - ortho, where they tried to talk us into dar having the exposure surgery again - she has two teeth that are slow coming in.
wednesday - back to the ortho b/c there was a sticking out wire poking d in the lip.
thursday - consult with oral surgeon - d decided not to do it. her reason "i dont like mouth pain". i agree.
friday- we hit the mall for back to school tax free shopping.
saturday - we were getting ready to get britt and go to kohls in s'ville and i burned the crap out of my left hand on the straightner. i cried a little - man did that hurt! now it has bulbous blisters. needless to say we didnt make kohls but did get britt a little later. thanks to mom for the advice and support!
sunday - make up shopping in s'ville.
today - i attempted to fry squash but they didnt taste anything like granny's so the majority are in the trash can. nothing else other than operation repo comes on tonight.
congrats to everyone's accomplishments! mom's knee, A's weight loss.
btw i forgot to mention the yard sale is on for this weekend! we've been cleaning out stuff for two weeks - i never knew i had so much crap, i mean treasures! i'm sure we'll make millions!

Grandma: Well, I went to the Dr today and all is well. The incision is not completely healed and I cannot go to the gym until it is. The place that is not healed is right in the middle and it drains a little when I bend my knee alot. Maybe if I kept very still and straight for several day it would get well faster but that is probably not going to happen. They were very happy at how well I could bend my knee. The final dx is benign fibrolipoma. Tumor was removed in two pieces. 2.5 X 1.7 X 1 cm and 5.5 X 4.3 X2.2 cm. (2.5 cm = 1 " ). I have pics if anyone wants to see. Hoffa's syndrome. Apparently unusual to have a tumor inside your knee. Anyway 'nough said, it is over and I am well on the road to recovery.

Adds - well, i can finally lift my arms to blog - haha. this bootcamp is for the birds. i think i came close to death saturday.
nothing much going on with me. i think i'm getting ready to log onto work stuff and check my emails, etc. have a great afternoon all!!

Grandma: Hey! I am doing great. Did some excersises at the gym today. Lost 1.6 pounds this week. Dad lost 1. I am still 4 pounds away from my back to school goal of losing 10 but that is okay. I plan to keep trying. School starts next Friday August 14. No other news!

hey glad the knee is getting better. i am also impressed with adds joining boot camp AND cutting out all her fav foods. now you can become one of the family athletes! although this means we have to hear more about sweaty rocky. also will sam be going to bootcamp? why is ken hogging so much couch space? i lol'd at the picture off him covering his eyes.
today dave did a intestinal surgery on a dacshund to remove a piece a toy this morning. he is waking up and doing fine but he has some recovering to do. i won at pool last night. i went to the beach wednesday and did some bike riding. only 4 more hours of work til the weekend!

Grandma: Today I got up at 6:48 am. Just couldn't sleep. Dad when to the dentist. He had a 7 am appointment to deal with a cracked tooth. It has been cracked for years and he refused to have a high dollar crown because it never bothered him so Dr. Boles talked him in to some new filling stuff. Only 1/2 the cost of the crown or something like that. I hope it is not too painful for him.
Yesterday was a great day. At 9 am I had a bone density test to make sure I am not getting osteoporosis 'cause I am getting really old (haha). Anyway I am way up in the green- in other words very good! Then I went and had my car inspected. It was due in July but...... From there I went to the Verizon store to get a new phone. There were lots of problems and they could not transfer over my contacts and pictures so I had to come home and email the ones I wanted to save to myself. I had 93! Only emailed 20 when I got tired of all that. Went back while Dad and Adds were at boot camp, got a different rep who transferred everything and activated my new phone. Sweet. I got a LG Chocolate. Appropriate since I am trying not to eat chocolate I thought it would be a good idea to have something chocolate in my life.
News from Gramps, he said the gar he and Tim caught was not 5 lbs but 5 feet long and probably weighted 25lbs! He tried to add that to the comments but it did not work. I would say that he refused to listen to my instructions but he told me not to put anything negative about him in the blog (he did not like my "party pooper" comment).
As to my knee it gets a little better every day. No pain just some weakness. But I am sure that will improve with time. Dad has been a great nurse. Despensing pills and running erands. Helping with bandages and the laundry. I don't know how I would have managed without him.
I know Adds is suffering from boot camp but she will be glad in the long run. She told Rocky if she was able to lift her arm up she would smack him. He just laughed! Sad gym news for Dar- Lily was fired for closing the pool early to hang out with a new boyfriend. We miss her. At 19 she is apparently not making good choices. :(
I love everything (even my left knee) and everybody (even verizon reps that are stupid). Have a chocolate day!

Tuesday - August 4

Adds - sorry i have not blogged in awhile. i have a couple of things to report.
1. i have joined mom and dad in boot-camping at the gym. this weekend i could barely move my arms and tonight i feel like throwing up a little and my lower back hurts. is it worth it, you ask?? I don't know yet--but it sure better.
2. i also joined weight watchers last week b/c I'm quite the fatty these days. the big weigh in is tomorrow. hopefully i will have some good news to report.
3. we went to the beach this past weekend (emerald isle) and did a little camping. it was fun - see the picture of Emma.
4. Sunday when we came home, Sam was a little needy. see him sleeping beside ken.
5. I guess the light was too bright b/c he had to cover his sweet little baby eyes.
well, that's about it. any encouragement you can give me will be greatly appreciated as I've now basically cut out every food I've ever loved and am dying slowing due to boot-camp.

hey. i went to work monday and tuesday. i have also put the new throttle cable on the lawn mower and the fuel line. i starts easier and doesnt leak gas anymore. today in the mail i got a sleeping bag, a carry on bag and super deluxe desk chair that i am sitting in while blogging. all credit card points booty. not much else is happening. we had another afternoon thunderstorm today. taht is all i can think of.

Grandma: :) :) :) :) :) Yeah! Today is a better day. Walking great. Walked down the farm path for 30 minutes. No pain!! Little stiff with bending but not bad. Plan to drive tomorrow, somewhere, anywhere! Wondering where oh where are my fellow bloggers? Just know their life is more exciting than mine.

August 2, 2009 2nd Post OP Day

Grandma: Well I have drug myself out of my sick bed to blog. Knee surgery is not much fun. The pain pills work great which is good news. I am walking around independently today, but so slow and limping. Don't know when I will be able to leave the house due to steps and the gravel drive. I am a little unsteady and too uncoordinated to use crutches. Didn't get a walker because I didn't think it would be this bad. Dad is out playing golf this morning. I am tidying up. The doctor said to move around as much as possible as soon as possible for a speedy recovery. So that is what I am doing. Sorry not much news when you are homebound. Rudy, Bryson and Landon stopped by yesterday. They put the boat in at the bridge near Tim's Gun Shop and floated down the creek a mile or so. They could not come toward the house as it was too shallow. Bryson caught a gar maybe 12 or 18" long. They said there was a place where alot of gar were hanging out. Remember when gar hung out at the big flat rock? Dad and Tim caught one about 5 pounds many, many years ago. I will try to find a picture for those who do not know what a gar looks like. Aunt Ann came to see me yesterday and brought some magazines. Dad went to the grocery store yesterday and got us a really big steak and some vegetables (zuccini (sp??) and peppers). We had a nice grilled supper last night. I love everything (except my left knee) and every body. Have a bloggin day! P.s. Loved the snuggie for dogs! Gus as always is ahead of the times!

today i went to work and saw a few people. i girl i know had somebody find her cat after 2 and a half months of being away. she was happy. i had a pizza and a salad at EVO's today. that made me happy. i had to buy a replacement head for my kitchen faucet today for 60 bucks. a piece was broken and leaking down the faucet getting wetness in the cabinet underneath. yesterday 2 old ladies came and picked up the old screen door from the front yard.

Grandma: Okay, so I haven't blogged in a while. Loved everybodies vacation pics. Sounds like a good time was had by all. I have been busy running back and forth to the dr's. At least all tests came out GOOD! Surgery set for tomorrow and Same Day just called and told me I had to come in at 5:30 AM. Yikes, I guess it is good to be first. Less waiting. But wondering what time one has to get up to be ready to leave home at 5:15 am. Then I remembered I use to work there and did it 4 times a week. NO regrets there! Anticipating being back on my feet by Saturday at the latest. Don't know when I will be able to go back to the gym. I was trying hard to lose 10 pounds by the time I returned to school but doubt that that will happen with no exercise. Maybe the tumor weighs 10 lbs. Okay I know that is unreasonable. Anyway I expect lots of blogs next week to keep me entertained while I recover. :) That's it!
